A Splash of Color

After my ordinary Monday chores,
EK and I headed to our local nursery for a few flowers to plant in our pots.
What a wonderful 'field trip'!
EK is a BIG animal and plant lover... so this was perfect for her!
She asked every plant name and found lots of ladybugs.

There is a strawberry field there and we bought some delicious berries.
She ate too many on the way home and
felt pretty yuck last night. :(
But do you think she learned her lesson? No.
She asked for them this morning at breakfast. :)

After lunch we went out to pot the flowers
and I had brought my camera out to shoot pics when we were all done.
EK picked it up and asked if she could take some pics.
Just look at the great shots she took.
Very proud of herself!
