came to Hartwell this weekend for a visit.

They are staying with Aunt Susan (Scott's sister)

Hart Life Walk-a-thon

EK and I walked for Hart Life Pregnancy Center today to raise money for them. It was such a fun time. Jason, Amy, and Max walked too along with lots of people from our church. I pulled EK and Max in a wagon and they loved seeing the police officers on motorcycles.

We left the walk and headed over to the center and did a little landscaping. Beautiful!



And enjoyed a hotdog lunch at our church... EK was SO happy to see Madelyn!!!



Spend the rest of the afternoon by the pool just hanging out. The best of days!!!

Court is in Session...

The Honorable Judge Tony Welborn presiding as Chief Magistrate Court Judge. We were so honored to witness Tony (our brother-in-law) be sworn in as CMCJ today as a whole courtroom of people looked on. He and Susan were surrounded by family, friends, and supporters at a reception following the ceremony. It was such a proud day for their children, our family, and our county! Congratulations Tony and Susan- we are SO proud of you both!!!

Scott and I helped set up for the reception and took pictures. Savannah and Rosemary stood at the guest book and then served tea. EK just enjoyed hanging out with her cousins. It was a very fun day!!!

Early Christmas Get Together

Susan and Tony invited our family over for dinner and gifts last evening.



Scott's sister, Jan and her husband Ray, daughter Jennifer, and 2 grandchildren all came in from NC for a visit so it was the perfect time for us all to get together. EK and her 2 cousins Carson and Robert didn't take long to warm up to each other and were the best of friends. After a delicious dinner of potato soup and chili, we all shared gifts for each other. EK could barely come home and go to bed she was so excited about her new gifts. Needless to say, she was up first thing playing with her new toys! It was a sweet time with family!!!

Tony is 60!!!

We were blessed to host a surprise party planned by Susan for Tony's 60th birthday. He was completely surprised by about 50 people- all who love him very much!!! We had a great spread of BBQ and all the fixings. Here are a few pics from the night.

Happy Birthday Susan

Today I am so thankful that we live so close to Tony and Susan, Scott's sister. We were able to scoot over there tonight @ 7pm for Susan's birthday party. Her son Jason, and daughter Stephanie were there as well as Ansleigh and Karleigh. Scott's brother Larry was there too. We sang happy birhtday and ate cake with ice cream. We certainly did miss Scott, who is in Toronto, and Savannah, who is @ college. I am thankful to have the sweetest sister-in-law and brother-in-law I could ever ask for. Yesterday when I cut my finger, quess who was right over to see about me? Yes, they were.

I am also so thankful that I got to go shopping with my mom today in search of a sofa. We had a wonderful lunch together too. EllaKate absolutely LOVES being with her Memama and Pop. We were able to go to their house and spend some time today.

We are all thankful we will be traveling to Loganville tomorrow night for First Friday. It will be wonderful to be with good friends and catch up on all that has been going on.

I am sooooooooooooooooo thankful my precious husband is coming home tomorrow!!!

Stephanie's Shower

We had so much fun this past Saturday @ Stephanie's baby shower. It was so fun to be with family and allow the girls to be with their cousins. We enjoyed watching Stephanie and Ansleigh open all the wonderful gifts. We look so forward to the new baby's arrival!!!
