93 Years

We celebrated my grandfather's 93rd birthday tonight with a cookout, cake, and ice cream. Scott picked him up on the way home from Atlanta and brought him to our house. I think he enjoyed getting out and going somewhere.

I thought this was adorable! EK grabbed the swiffer and began to vacuum under the table for me. She was pretty excited to help me.

My Grandfather

My grandfather is doing much better after a month in the hospital. We helped him move into a beautiful assisted living community yesterday. EllaKate was so excited to see her PaPa after a whole month.

PaPa is 92

My grandfather is 92 years old today. We celebrated yesterday @ my mom's house for lunch. He was recognized at our church as pastor emeritus. We are amazed he does so well- still driving, preaching, teaching, and works in his own garden.

Papa's 90th Birthday

My grandfather turned 90 years old on Friday, June 30. We decided to give him a great celebration. We invited many family members, all the neighbors, and a few golfing buddies. It was a grand time. We enjoyed great barbecue and fellowship. What an amazing example PaPa sets for all who were there as to what helps a person get to 90 years of age: a personal relationship with Christ, an active life, and lots of love from people all around. We always say, PaPa never meets a stranger and always comes home to tell us about a great experience he had with someone he met that day. We love him very much and pray for him, health and happiness.
