More Adelyn...

Amy was scheduled for a C section @ 8am and we arrived about 8:30~

Adelyn arrived @ 8:19 so we made it just in time.

I came around the corner

and whipped out my camera right away.

EK and SJ were SO excited to see sweet Adelyn.

The night before EK told SJ to get to sleep fast~

we had a big day... Adelyn was coming! :)

Jason was SO excited...

and post on FB~

the face of his beautiful daughter!

The nurse took excellent care of sweet Adelyn!

Mama and Daddy are taking care of Max

and brought him over to see his new sister.

Mama and Max brought Adelyn a gift~

so Jason came out to get Max

so he could see his mama!

Meanwhile Adelyn got her first bath. :)

I think Jason and Amy look really great

We couldn't be more thrilled that Amy is feeling well

and Adelyn is such a healthy sweet baby!!!

My Daddy's Birthday

One of the joys of being an adult child

is celebrating your parent's birthdays.

I really don't remember mama and daddy

really making a big deal out of each other's bds

when we were growing up~

so it's wonderful to be able to celebrate their lives

with our family.

Monday was Daddy's 74th birthday

but celebrated Sunday with a BIG meal

since we were all home.

That empty chair at the table was Scott's

and can you tell from the look on his face

how his beloved Falcons were doing???

We sang HB~ one of Max and Sj's favorite songs!

Then enjoyed ice cream cake!

And just so you know~

Max is borrowing SJ's bid...

It was a great day to just hang out!

Doesn't he have the most beautiful eyes???

Daddy's 73rd Birthday

We celebrated my daddy's birthday Sunday with the whole family. Momma and Marcia cooked a delicious lunch for us after we heard the most wonderful sermon by my little brother Jason at our church. Scott picked up my grandfather and he was able to be there as well. It truly was a great family day! So thankful to have my precious daddy in my life!!!

A Grand Time

Grandparents and grandchildren... Saturday night we were able to keep Max while Jason and Amy went out. We made dinner and invited Momma and Daddy down- they were very happy to come and see their 'grand'children... what sweet pictures. Momma actually gave Max the little Georgia outfit he is wearing. A sweet family time!!!

Pop's Birthday

My dad turned 72 Saturday and we all celebrated at our house with a cookout, family, and cake. We were so happy to have Marcia and Samuel here from Summerville, and Jessica was home from college for the weekend!!!

We celebrated Pop's (my dad) 71st birthday and Jessica's 18th birthday on Sunday. My sister Marcia was here so we helped Mama cook up a wonderful lunch for the family. It was a wonderful day.
