A Little Pumpkin Carving

We invited Max, Amy, and Jason over
to carve our pumpkins together.
I got it started...

Everyone took a look inside
but only EK wanted to help pull the pulp and seeds.

Jing was intrigued and watched carefully.

Amelia took over so I could take pics. :)

Amy worked on their pumpkin~
Have I told everyone they have big news???
A new baby on the way and due to arrive in March!!!

Amelia let EK choose the face~
she chose SCARY. :>

Jing wanted her picture made too...

Pumpkins complete...

Group pic...

Ready for Halloween!

Oh and guess who can ride a bike???
(with training wheels of course)
She amazes us everyday!!! :)

Pumpkin Patch Day

Amelia's VB team played this morning
very near a great pumpkin farm
so when the game was done~
we headed over to choose the best pumpkin ever.

Scott and the girls grabbed a wheel barrow and were off.

We found our pumpkins right away
and spent most of our time shooting cute pics.

A fun Family day!

Guess what we learned about Jing today?
She knows how to swing...
she leaned forward and pulled her legs under
and then leaned back and stretched those legs out...
she LOVED swinging!!!

Girls just want to have fun...

The Littles had such a fun time!
EK can not wait to carve the pumpkins
and I can't wait to toast and eat the seeds!!! :)
Only thing missing from this beautiful day~
Josh & Savannah.
Missed you both so much!!!

Pumpkin Patch Day!

We took the girls along with my mom, Jason, Amy, and Max to a little pumpkin patch not far from home. EK and Max loved looking for the perfect pumpkin and taking a wagon ride. I loved all the pics I was able to take and as you can see had a hard time weeding them out. When we got home, EK decorated her with a Princess kit and we carved the big one. The best part was the delicious pumpkin seeds we baked- YUM!!! It was a wonderful day- the only thing that would have made it better... Savannah and Josh!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Today was a great day for a pumpkin patch visit. Suzanne Cain told us about a great place called Washington Farm in Watkinsville, so we took the girls. We couldn't believe all the people there, and to top it all off, we ran into some old friends from Duluth (live in Watkinsville now), Cathy and Dave Graves. It was so great to see them. We got a wheelbarrow which EllaKate loved and we pushed it out into the patch. There were tons of pumpkins to choose from. I am not kidding when I say EllaKate chose her pumpkin in about 30 seconds, Rosemary found hers next, and then we found the family pumpkin. It is huge and will be full of wonderful pumpkin seeds which we LOVE to roast and eat. The girls love carving and decorating the pumpkins.
