Weekend Recap

We had a great weekend!

Really the first chance to get out on the lake in a while.

Saturday evening we went out for a dinner picnic~

until a little storm blew over~

We made it home just in time!

On Sunday, after church, we headed to the lake again.

This time the littles begged Amelia

to ride the tube with them,

SJ's first ride ever~

and EK rode by herself for the first time ever~

We were so proud of her!!!

It was also the first time EK&SJ had helped Dad wash the car~

Although there was WAY more playing in the bubble bucket

than washing the car. :)

A very fun weekend!

Easter Afternoon

After the kitchen was cleaned and

everyone off to their house,

we changed into swimsuits and headed to the pool.

The water is shocking cold but the littles act like it's nothing!!!

A&R completely satisfied to just lay out. :)

When Scott finally made it back home,

we took a ride in the boat and...

some of our crazy children took a swim! :)

THEN!

Amy and Max came over for egg dying and decorating!

SO fun!!!

The dying went great~

and I think Jingy decorated one...

but you know what their favorite part of the whole thing was???

Eating them!!!

2 each and Jingy had 2 for breakfast!

A big hit!!!

Thanks Amy and Max~ can't wait to do it again next Easter!!!

The Rest of EK's Birthday

On the way home from Fernbank,

we stopped by my brother Jason's beautiful canola field

for a few photos!

Then on Saturday night,

we celebrated with family...

Sunday we were so excited to take everyone out on the boat

and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.

The perfect way to end a great weekend!!!

My computer has been in the hospital since Thursday

(thus the sparse postings)

and hoping it is ready tomorrow!

Sunday Snapshot:: Pre-4th Weekend

Our small town hosts a Pre-Fourth Extravaganza each year
the weekend before the 4th.
There is a street dance on Friday night
and booths in town on Saturday.
Saturday night is the best!
Fireworks are shot on the lake
near the dam
and we always take our boat out to watch.

EllaKate got all her babies tucked in before we left
and chose one to take. :)

I Heart Faces: Teens

The theme at I Heart Faces this week is Teens.
I have a house full some days
and take tons of pics.
Last night we took Amelia and Jake our tubing
and I took this shot of them having the time of their lives...
