Savannah's SS class had a spa party Saturday night at Amy's house. Amy was the spa coordinator and did a fantastic job! The girls loved it. Amelia was at a SS bowling party but came later.
Rosie, Ella, and myself all went. Rosie got to participate, and so did Amelia when she arrived.
Everyone looked beautiful and refreshed when it was all said and done. Ella enjoyed hanging our with her best friend, Grace Anne.

On Saturday night, we went bowling with our senior class at Oasis Bowling. It was a fun time to hang out and get to know each other better.
We had lots of kids there, but we missed many that were working. We will be having an outing with them every 3rd Saturday of the month. We look forward to all the great memories made together this last year of high school.
Even EllaKate had friends, Grace Anne and Kate, there to hang out with. We had a great time!!

We went to the Billy Graham Cove Camp in Asheville, NC with our youth group from FBC Duluth to the annual Back to School Retreat (B2SR). We left on Friday evening and stayed until Monday morning. As you can see, EllaKate was wonderful- she slept where ever we were!
Jason and Amy were there too! It was wonderful to spend quality time with them. Jason brought the message Saturday night and it was awesome!!! They are really loved by all the kids!!!
As I said, EllaKate slept where ever. Everyone thought she was a wonderful baby!
Early morning faces... I had plenty of diet coke in the car!!!
Our precious daughters! It was like being in China... no distractions of the world- just focused time together with great Christian friends!!! Each one of the girls had a great experience. We were amazed at the things they shared with us when we got home. EllaKate was amazing. We slept together in the bottom bunk each night in the senior girls in their cabin. It was a wonderful trip, but it was great to get home!!!

Well, do you see Scott? Yes, that's him in the big hat. He said it had been great in keeping his head cool and protected from the sun. He was the crew encourager and he had a big job. Most of his crew was young middle schoolers and had never been to World Changers much less on a roof. They had a very big job to get done. The lady that lived there was so sweet and they really enjoyed getting to know her. The temp was very hot and hunid - Scott said the soles of their shoes melted while on the roof each day. They were all required to come down every few minutes and drink water to stay hydrated. It was a long week but a very rewarding one! Scott and the girls can't wait to go backnext year. Rosie, Ella, and I are wondering if we should go with them and ride around to hand out popsicles.... we missed them way to much!!! Glad they are home, the laundry is done, and Scott is back to work. Rosemary has Summer Music workshop beginning today. She has a part and solo with a performance Sunday evening. We are looking forward to it. Then Monday, we are off on VACATION!!!!! Savannah had a great week!!! This was Savannah's fifth World Changer trip and she said this group of people was her favorite so far. Her group also roofed a house. They were able to finish on Thursday and help other groups. Her crew chief told her that she was in the top four girls he had ever had on his crew in all the years he had been doing World Changers. What a blessing!!!

I have posted a few pictures of Amelia on her beach trip with the youth group from our church. I can't find any of Savannah. They are both having a great time - actually they are both on the bus headed for home today. We will be glad to have them home! The best part of the trip was that Amy and Jason were there too. This is a very cute picture of Jason and Amelia hanging out at the restaurant last night. Click on the picture and get a look at more.
