I'm So Excited!!!

For some reason SJ noticed for the first time last night
her pjs had little girls on them.
SJ: What her name mama?
Me: She's a ballerina.
SJ: ShayleeJoy is a ballerina.
Me: ShayleeJoy wants to be a ballerina?
(Points to herself...)
SJ: Ballerina
SO when she woke up this morning,
she wanted to dress up like a ballerina~
went to the playroom, chose an outfit,
and called herself 'Ballerina' all morning. :)

And the reason
I AM SO EXCITED~
My printed Blog Books came today
and I LOVE them!!!!!

Every story I wrote for 2010 including:
SJ's referral, EK's 5th BD, Vacation,
Savannah's Engagement,
Rosie~Learner's Permit, SJ Day, Heart Surgery,
Amelia~ Homecoming Dance,
and all my 24 years of Christmases!!!
Plus tons more!
I couldn't be more thrilled with how they turned out
and know they will only increase in value
as the years pass away.
I'm more committed than ever to keep my blog going
and encourage each of you to do the same!!!

Week 3~ Project Life & Cabinet Reveal

Week 3 has been an emotional and kind of slow week~
with the news of SJ's upcoming procedure
and just being home doing school with the littles...
I was able to capture a few moments with my camera.

Finally after a week or so
of going through tons of boxes from school~
the Home School cabinet is organized and stocked.
I LOVE that my stuff is in the house garage now
and I even emptied and moved a filing cabinet over
to hold all my files too.
Thanks to my sweet husband who never rolls his eyes
when I start some big project...
he knows I am going to tackle it no matter what
and it WILL get done with his help!

Looking forward to a great weekend
with all the chicks in the nest and Josh too!

2011 Life Project Album

On January 1st I mentioned a Digital Project Life Album
I wanted to create for the little girls' life books.
In the course of shooting my photos for the 365 Project,
I decided another Digital album was in order so...
I will be sharing my album pages each Friday
as a way to spotlight my 365 photos in 2011.

Project 365~ Week 1 "Sunday Snapshot"

I am participating in the Project 365 Challenge this year
and have my first week completed.
Capturing moments in time never to be forgotten.

With the learning curve of a new camera,
I have pretty much kept it on the green square~
but with the help of a refresher course 31 Days to a Better Photo...
and this great book I'm reading~
I'm hoping to jump off the deep end into Manual!!!

Brooke's comment below was such a great question,
I thought I would answer it here.
I am dropping my photos in a monthly template I bought @ Jessica Sprague
and plan to publish at the end of each month.
You will need access to Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Photoshop Elements
to use the templates.
There are also numerous Flickr groups uploading photos to share as well.

Any chance there might be others out there
working on any of these things too???
Leave a comment and let's encourage each other as we go!

Stop by Stefanie's blog to participate and see more Sunday Snapshots.

Scrapbook Marathon

For the last 2 weeks I have worked diligently at night creating my 2008 and 2009 family scrapbooks. I was SO behind. It always a labor of love. My favorite thing is reliving so many wonderful memories and looking at how much the girls have changed. Makes me realize how precious the here and now is and so important to cherish even the smallest of moments. So if you have any interest... here they are. Created in PSE7.

Blessings,
