Today was a day of embracing change
and remembering back to a time in my life when
I was (according to my daddy)
'making a home'.
Going back in my own life
remembering how excited I was to start life with my wonderful husband
is one way I am able to embrace instead of resist
and trusting God's plan in it all.
Savannah and I with the littles
took two car loads of 'home stuff'
to the new apartment today.
It was SO fun helping her unpack, wash, and put away.
A little tour...
The kitchen~
Bedroom~
Bathroom~
Eating Area~
Living Room~
and two precious little girls that were perfect today!!!
They LOVE Nana and Josh's new house!!! :)
Going back to embracing change...
as I sat in church on Sunday
listening to an amazing sermon preached by my little brother
(Intentional and Attentional leading up to Easter) my paraphrase!~
I began thinking ahead to the next six months
and my six precious children...
ALL six will be going through some major changes.
Savannah graduating college and getting married.
Amelia graduating and moving away to college.
Rosemary being the only big at home for first time ever.
EllaKate starting K in the fall.
(more on this later)
SJ continuing to bond to her family
and get ready to share with her baby brother.
And baby Will leaving all he's ever known
to become part of his forever family.
To say I have much to embrace is SO true~
making it completely necessary to be intentional and attentional
every single day forever!!!
This is a time when there are really no words, many tears,
and lots of prayer!!!
SO thankful for these six undeserved blessings
and one big blessing (Josh)
coming 18 days from now...
Embracing them all!!!
Thank YOU Jesus!!!
I love you so much and loved today!!! I'm so thankful that you're teaching me to embrace life and embrace change :)
ReplyDeleteYou have so stinkin' much going on girl! Each of your children is incredibly blessed to have you for their Mother - to guide and love them through all these upcoming changes.
ReplyDeleteThinking of and praying for you in the coming days . . . .

What an incredible family. I love having a peek into your world.
ReplyDeleteWell, if Savannah's comment to her momma doesn't say it all, then I don't know what does!?!
ReplyDelete...you are one incredible mother, my friend! It's so clear that you have {and are} training your children up in the way they should go, so that when they are old, they will not depart from it! (Prov.22:6)
Praying for you and all the changes (and blessings!) in your life in the days and months to come. A year of changes, that's for sure! Hang in there and embrace every moment!!
love and hugs,
~ Tanya
Man, some serious change gong on. Good for you for embracing it all.
ReplyDeleteYou are blessed, indeed!
Love seeing your daughter's first apartment. It really took me back. Those early days of marriage are so precious, and they pass so quickly!
Someday you need to pass on some parenting wisdom to those of us with our first set of littles. What have you learned from all this raising of kids?! :)
Awwww, I love Savannah and Josh's new place - SO cute!! I cant wait for them to start their married life together!
ReplyDeleteYes, there is a LOT of change going on in the Ankerich Household right now! Spring really does symbolize rebirth for you guys this year :)
