This Little Piggy

Baba was pretty much home the whole holiday season...
and 6 girls got VERY used to him being here.
AND two little girls can't WAIT for him to get home each day.

Tonight after dinner,
SJ climbed up on him, pulled off her socks and slippers,
and said, "Play Piggie Baba".

This little piggy went to market,
This little piggy stayed home,
This little piggy had roast beef,

and this little piggy cried Wee Wee Wee all the way home!!!

Family time at night is so precious~
time not to be taken lightly...
We are also very blessed that Savannah is doing her student teaching
very close to where Scott works.
They have planned to carpool home some
instead of her going back to school each night.
She came home with him tonight SO
ALL the Chicks are Back in the nest!!!

I reminded Scott what a gift this time with her is
because in 5 short months
she will be married and living her own family life.

I am NOT taking one minute for granted at all~
instead
I am Embracing the time and making it the best ever!!!

  1. Oh my goodness! Those are the cutest "piggy" pictures ever! I wish the second one was a video so we could hear her squeal!

  3. HI,
Trying to quit being such a lurker this year!
My daughter (She's 10) and I like to come over here and read sometimes. I have a son too, but he's very much a boy, and not so into blogs!
We were in the adoption process, but the economy stopped, and we are ok with that for now. We may have a big age gap in our children down the road, so it's encouraging to see it can be done and with joy!
