There are just no words for how much I love these two!
I snapped this photo as they were walking out this morning.
When we moved to our new home,
Scott began a commute back into Atlanta each day to work~
about an hour and a half one way.
Savannah is student teaching in Gwinnett at a school
on Scott's way home each day.
She is actually closer to home than college SO
she is commuting home with Scott a few nights each week.
4 this week!!!
A Gift!~
because in 4 months from tomorrow,
she will be our married daughter starting her new life with Josh~
A VERY exciting time for our family.
A Gift!~
because we are getting time with her we never imagined we would get
before she graduated college.
Another exciting time for our family.
I remember when she was little and I taught school,
Scott took her to the babysitter in the morning...
When she transitioned to middle school,
he drove her to school each morning...
and when she started high school before getting her license,
he drove her each morning then too!
NOW...
she is student teaching in middle school
and commuting with her daddy again.
Gone full circle...
If that's not
A Gift~
I don't know what is!!!
James 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
wow, that is quite the commute each day! 3-hours!
ReplyDeleteI love this story. Full circle is right!

Wonderful Daddy & Daughter time,Im sure:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a special time for your daughter and husband. These are the moments that will forever be embedded in their minds. My husband works very hard at spending time with our daughter. It's so important as they grow up to know a father's love. This will enable them to choose the right type of man that will treat them as lovingly as their father did.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful day!

This made me tear up. I used to commute to college with my dad too. (He worked there). What a blessing to have this time with her. And what a sweet picture. A rememberance of all those years of them walking out the door together. So sweeet!!
ReplyDeleteThat is great that they are able to carpool together and she can come home more often! I know you are so happy!
