Today Isabel took us on a little shopping adventure.
Our first stop was back to Panda World for...
a Panda for Max.
We skyped with him, Jason, and Amy today
and he saw EK's.
We can't wait to give it to him!!! :)
Next stop was a huge international trade market
full of shops where handmade crafts are sold.
We went into the woman's shop
and bartered her down for
3 silk embroidery prints she had made.
EK is having a look at some Jade pendants
none of which made her say wow.
On the way back to the hotel,
Scott, EK, and Isabel stopped by the local market
for water, Coke light, and rice cookies.
SJ and I stayed in the van...
Scott said it was something else in there.

Those local shops can be quite interesting! It's always amazing to see how different they are from ours -
