Our family was so blessed by my bible study group yesterday! They all gathered and worked at a yard sale sponsored by them and all proceeds went to our adoption fund.
It was so sweet to see each one interact with people in our community sharing our adoption story and watching the community light up when they heard and saw our sweet ShayleeJoy's picture attached to a sign on a tree. I pray someone's heart was touched and will begin to think of adoption in their own family.
There was one precious girl about 16 that looked back at me as her family walked away and said to me, "I sure hope I can adopt one day." I looked at her in such awe... would I have ever said that when I was 16? I said, "Keep praying about it and God will lead your heart!"
SO very thankful he lead me to my precious EllaKate and ShayleeJoy!!!
