Rosie, Hannah (our next door neighbor), and Abby (a friend from church) all went to Camp Pinnacle in Clayton, GA yesterday. We followed two other girls Rosie's age and all stopped @ Wendy's for lunch. We then got in line @ the gate to enter. We went in around 12:30 and started the registration process. There was some confusion about Hannah's paperwork, but in the end, it all worked out and we got them settled into their cabin.
One of their counselors is Ms. Nancy. She is a student @ Truett McConnel and was so sweet to the girls when they came in. Rosie noticed some things on a table that looked to be from China so we asked her and she said yes, she had been to China on a mission trip and would be returning in the next year. We were so excited to tell her Rosie had been when we adopted Ella and would be returning to get Shaylee. (Don't they favor just a little?)
I pray Rosie has the time of her life this week. I think she was a little unsure when I left, but I know having Hannah and Abby there will make it great!
P.S. Savannah and Amelia are @ Destin for a retreat called Beach Blast. I probably won't have pictures from their trip until they return home. Also, we are for sure moving next Friday, June 30. The movers will be here bright and early. So... I am off to get some packing done.
