MLK Day

Waiting can be so hard but staying busy helps. On Monday, Savannah wanted to go looking for a prom dress. We went to David's Bridal and found the perfect one. We bought it and how crazy is this.... went to Babies 'R' Us and filled out a baby registry. Who buys a prom dress and signs up for a baby registry all in the same day? The mom of a 16, 13, 10, and ??? year old.

Judy (representative at CCAI) told me that they haven't had any communication from CCAA, but they are still expecting/hoping for a batch before CNY. Her best guess is that if they do mail before CNY - CCAI will make calls around the 2nd - but she said if it doesn't come before CNY we are looking at mid Feb for matches. They have no idea how many days they are matching. We hope more than 1! It sounds more like CCAA is communicating less, not CCAI.

I hope and pray we hear something before the end of January. We are on such a time crunch now. It is looking more and more that the girls will have to stay behind when we go. That is very disheartening. We really want them to be there when they hand sweet Ella Kate to us! I have to keep telling myself to sit back and watch God work!!! HE KNOWS IT ALL!!!!!
