Where my Baby lives...

The first day I saw Will's face
I clicked the photo to make him bigger
because he looked so much like SJ.

I later learned he lived at Philip Hayden Foundation.
Here are some photos of the campus...
isn't it Peaceful and Beautiful?

Do you see my baby sitting outside with all the people that love him?

Today God gave me the sweetest blessing~
I read the most beautiful post written by
a precious guardian angel that has loved on my baby while he waits...
and it would be an understatement to say I had a little breakdown.
In her post, I learned that Will lives in the House of Peace.
I thought that was the sweetest thing...

THEN!!!
Guess what arrived in the mail???
A while back I left a comment on Waiting for Number Six
to enter a little drawing she was having for a necklace
never thinking I would win.
One day I received an email that I was second runner up
and a little happy was on the way.

It came today and it just blessed my heart!!!
Thank you Lea!!!
In a little heart box,
I found a beautiful Brighton bracelet
with the words
{Peace Starts Within}.

Did you get the connection???

House of Peace
and
Peace Starts Within.

A coincidence??? No~
a message spoken to me from God through
two people that don't even know each other...
words spoken to my heart.

Peace~
to me as we wait for sweet Will
Peace~
the place Will calls home for now
Peace~

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.

I do not give to you as the world gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

PS... I put the bracelet on and plan to wear it everyday
until Will begins his Forever with our family!!!

  3. Yay!!! Love seeing God's handiwork all over Will's story!

(and just so you know...the woman whose lap Will is on in that picture is actually not his ayi, but Sara, one of the adoption liasons at PHF. She loves those kids as her own and does so much hard work, along with the other liasons, to coordinate paperwork with children's home orphanages so they can find forever families! Just thought you'd want to know...) :)

  9. A friend of mine, Jen, who follows your blog gave me your link. We are so happy your son who lives at PHF has found his forever family, and we are so happy you have found your forever son!

Jen let me know about your blog because you and have something very special in common. Our middle son, Philip, adopted from China in June 2008 also lived at Shepherd's Field! What an amazing place. The love and care Philip received there has forever touched our hearts.

Since bringing Philip home, we have become friends with Tim and Pam Baker over the last three years and continue to fall in love with PHF and Shepherd's Field Children's Village.

If you need any information about this beautiful village where your son lives or would just like to chat with a fellow PHF parent, just e-mail me at kjtbourke@prodigy.net.

    Our family website is http://threefingerprintsofgod.blogspot.com

I would love to talk to you about a place that is very dear to my heart and our family's heart.
