Today was a day given away to prayer...
prayer from many of you
and definitely from our family and friends
for little ShayleeJoy.
We were at Egleston for a heart cath
to check a blockage in her right pulmonary artery.
Maybe balloon or a stint...
neither was necessary~
yes, there was blockage,
but no need for intervention now~
yes, she could still need one or the other later,
but for now completely ok!!!
We spent the night @ Ronald McDonald house
and were up bright and early for appt.
SJ was a little anxious at first...
but she and EK began playing
and she as fine!
Probably wondering what exactly was going on.
We call this her Rudolph finger~
We waited about 2 hours
so SJ played her DS
and watched some tv.
EK was the BEST big sister!
When SJ came back to the room,
she had a little trouble waking up.
Watching tv helped calm her...
Finally it was time to get IV and monitors off.
She was very excited she could get dressed!
We got her a balloon
and I had NO idea how big it would be
when I chose it. :)
The nurse asked both girls to get in the chair
to ride downstairs to the car.
You would have thought we were in a parade! :)
It was the best feeling to get home
and know SJ was fine and happy!!!
Thank you ALL for your prayers~
they were certainly felt!!!
It was the perfect way to celebrate Valentine's Day!!!
Oh, these little pictures are precious. SO happy with the good news.
