It DID Snow!

Our two littles went to bed last night
hoping and praying for snow today.
I woke several times in the night
and was SO excited to see their wish had come true.
10/365
EK was so excited and said,
"It DID snow mom!".
First thing they both wanted to do was catch
a snowflake on their tongue.

They had a ball out playing with Baba
and I loved capturing it all though my lens. :)

The bigs finally made it up and out as well.
The great thing about our street~
there are plenty of friends to hang out with
and many close enough to come over.

Jason, Amy, and Max came over too~
we enjoyed time outside
and inside!
Girls were out of school today
and will be out tomorrow as well!
Looking forward to another winter wonderland day!

  5. We got about 6 inches here in SC. Kids have been out of school for the last two days and I have a feeling they'll be out tomorrow too. Of course add that to the fact they are out this Friday and then the following Monday and it's like another Christmas vacation :)

You have a beautiful home - love that picture!

  6. Snow days are always fun...we don't get many here, because it snows so much. We'd be out of school constantly. It is snowing here today.
    Beautiful pics as always!

    hugs,

    Gail

  7. I think that you have had more snow this year than we have in New Hampshire. You certainly have had it more often. We've really only had one storm, December 26, but tomorrow should change that! Aidan is bummed, because tomorrow is snowboarding lessons and if school is cancelled, so is the lesson. If that's not bad enough, our road dead-ends at the ski area so we'll have more traffic than usual! I'd take him, but he's not ready to actually board without an instructor yet.
