It has been on my heart to blog about National Adoption Month but have just been a procrastinator. Today I was reading other adoptive blogs and found this YouTube video that just said all that needs to be said. It is also very timely that our agency CCAI just began offering adoptions from Ethiopia!!! Is God whispering to your heart???
God lead us to adoption almost 5 years ago and it has been a huge blessing to our family. EK is the sweetest little girl full of life and joy that lights up our home each day. We love her sooooo very much. We have been waiting 29 months for our sweet ShayleeJoy and I just about burst when I think of the day I will finally hold her forever!!! I am praying God will lead you or someone you love to the blessing of adoption.

Hey Sharon -- Who is this guy? He sounds SO MUCH like Doug did before we decided to adopt Ally - the exact same reasons NOT to adopt! Thankful that God sometimes knocks twice (or more...)!
ReplyDeleteI'm always thankful that God used your adoption to speak to me about adopting internationally. I can't imagine NOT adopting! It isn't easy (you know that better than anyone) but, oh my goodness, is there anything more rewarding? I hope that once I get over the shock of having 4 children, we will be able to adopt again!
