Fall Break

Our girls have been in school since Aug 3 so our county had Fall Break last week. Some days were spent sleeping late and resting much of the day and others were spent wide open. Scott took off Wed-Fri so that was so great! Wed we took the girls to Anderson for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and dinner at Longhorn's. Thursday was the wide open day. We headed to Atlanta around 10 and made it to The Puppetry Arts of Atlanta right on time to see a show all about dinosaurs- EK LOVED it!!!

We had thought we would eat lunch at The Varsity but the girls vetoed that idea and we ended up at The Old Spaghetti Factory- yummy! After lunch we found our way to Zoo Atlanta... we loved the giraffes and pandas. It was the perfect day to be there- cool and breezy.

Our next stop was Turner Field for a Braves game. Getting there early scored us a great table in center field at The Chop House. We had great seats in the 6th row behind the dugout but EK and I chose to stay at our table and enjoy the game. It was the perfect ending to the perfect day because Savannah and Josh were able to join us. It was so great to hang out with them and catch up. We miss them both so much!!!

Fall Break4

The rest of the week was pretty calm and Saturday night Scott and I went to his 30th year HS reunion. It was fun to get dressed up and go out for a fun night. Scott had so much fun catching up with old classmates and remembering old times- crazy ones I might add. When we returned home, we were shocked to find Scott's truck rolled with TP and saran wrap. He couldn't believe the girls' friends would be so brave to roll HIS truck. Finally Sunday, Amelia confessed she and her BF Sarah had done it... we thought it was hilarious- at least I did...
