The Pool is Open for Summer!!!

We opened the pool this weekend and it is so cold- but does that stop the girls from getting in? No... Amelia was the first in Saturday to help clean it and EK wasn't far behind. Some of the kids swam Saturday evening and then again on Sunday. Today all the girls are out basking in the sun while EK plays in the COLD water... 67 degrees. I LOVE looking out to see the pool and thinking of all the wonderful memories we will make as a family this summer!

Here they are as I type... what could be better than coming home from school for a dip in the pool? Savannah's friend Baileigh is spending the week with us!!!

    Ours is open too! We still have some cleaning, but the little ones played on the steps for a while on Sat while we did yard work! Love it!

    I want to come over too!! Sadly, we have no pool! In fact, I think in our metropolis of 500,000 we have only 3 public outdoor pools!

    Aw! So jealous yours is open already! :-) My littles have been content to play in the water hose. I bet EK will be swimming without her swimmies by the end of the summer!
