It's True!!!

There was an update on the official CCAA website yesterday. They usually update after our US agency, CCAI does. Anyway, it is as follows.

1/24/06
We have learned that the CCAA has mailed the next group of matches. We anticipate receiving these matches by the end of the week. In addition, we have learned that the CCAA has posted the following message on their web site:
“The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before May 13, 2005.”

I had a dentist appointment for a root canal yesterday. During the day, I got a call from a friend, Susan Chapman, who is always in contact with people here in Atlanta and Colorado, CCAI. She said she had talked to the director of the Atlanta agency, and he was leaving yesterday morning at 11:30 to be in Colorado today when the referrals came in. We are still not positive we will get the CALL tomorrow but will know later in the day. If we will be getting our CALL tomorrow, I will not be at school. I will be sending the email forward that we receive and then post all pictures here on the blog.

In my quiet time yesterday, God gave me the verse, James 1:17:
"Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights." Immediately, I pictured the plane coming down with our precious baby's picture and information. What an amazing thought! As I sat and thought about the whole matching process, all I could think was that the people matching us with a baby thought they were in control of our match. Our match was covered with immense prayer and God had chosen Ella Kate long before her picture was given to the match room. Now as we wait to see her face tomorrow, it is all God's Will coming to fruition! All praise and glory goes to Him!!!
